Abstract

In 1971, employees of the general history group of the Leningrad branch of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR prepared a typewritten collection of their works in honor of the 70th anniversary of the birth of the group leader Victor I. Rutenburg (1911–1988), which was called “I Fiori e le Spighi” – “Flowers and ears”. Later, almost all of these articles were published in different journals and became publicly available. But the present work of Alexandra D. Lublinskaya (1902–1980) remained unknown and did not fall into the list of her printed works. The text was prepared by Arkadiy V. Fedorov, a graduate student at the Higher School of Economics (Moscow), and Vladimir V. Shishkin, a senior researcher at the St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
