Abstract
Publication and scientific commentary of an unknown report by one of the b chefs de bataillon of the 13th Light Infantry Regiment on the second stage of 1812. This document, kept in the family archive of the Counts of Morand (Paris, France), is being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. It is of exceptional interest to the researcher, revealing unknown pages of the war of 1812: the so-called Podolsk expedition and the beginning of the army’s movement towards Maloyaroslavetz. The author of this document, which tells about the second stage of the Campaign of 1812, is Pierre-Ignace Lendormy. The report has a title “Historique des opérations faites par le 13e Régiment d’Infanterie légère où auxquelles le Corps à participé depuis son départ Moscou”. The publication is carried out in the so-called parallel form: reproduction of the text in the original language with full preservation of the spelling of the original source and its closest possible translation. Also, for the
sake of completeness of perception of the published source, a reconstruction of the service record of the chef de bataillon Lendormy was carried out.
